Kids Ministry at Glad Tidings
Our heart at GT Kids is to partner with families in raising this next generation to walk in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. Through times of worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and age appropriate activities we believe that each child’s life will be touched by God.
We offer the following age-specific programs for children:
Nursery: ages 0-2
Preschool: ages 3-5
GT Kids Church: Elementary students ( K- 6 )
Your first visit
Here's what to expect when bringing your kids to GT:
As you enter the parking lot, keep a look out for white "family parking" signs along the building facing Mountain Road. These are specially reserved for you! The entrance facing Mountain Road will lead you to the gym check-in stations for Preschool and Elementary aged children. Our Nursery is located upstairs above the main foyer at the Sunshine Drive entrance.
Whichever entrance you come through, there are signs to guide you. If you need assistance look for one of our friendly ushers in teal lanyards or GT Kids crew members wearing blue t-shirts who will lead you and your child to their group and assist you with check- in.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
How check-in works
Our nursery is located upstairs above the main foyer and is open 15 minutes before service starts. One of our workers will check in your child and give your child a name tag. We ask that you keep your phone on vibrate so we can contact you if your child requires your attention. In the event that you don’t have a phone, we will supply you with a pager. If we need to contact you during the service your pager will flash red and vibrate. Pagers can be returned to a worker in the nursery as you pick up your child.
Preschool and Elementary:
Check-in stations are located by the gym and are open 15 minutes before service starts. One of our workers will check-in your child and give them a name tag with an identification code exclusive to your family and your visit. Elementary students will then be welcomed in the gym by our GT Kids team. Once preschoolers have their name tags, parents/guardians can access the preschool cafe located just before the check in station, where our preschool teachers will welcome the children to their class.
When service is over, return to the gym or pre-school class to pick up your child.
