King’s Castle is an exciting discipleship and ministry program for kids and youth that trains them to walk in the ways of the Lord and lead others to Him. The program is not just another curriculum; it is a part of a way of living that teaches the younger generation how to put God first in every aspect of their lives. While it is centered on weekly discipleship classes, students will work within four facets of ministry: Evangelism, Discipleship, Missions and Compassion.
King’s Castle becomes a part of everyday family life, involving homework assignments, level challenges and daily Bible study. The students will also grow though team-building activities and retreats and are provided with various ministry opportunities. Through the support and participation of church leadership, congregation members and parents, King’s Castle has the potential to transform kids into deeply-rooted, Spirit-filled followers of Christ.

I give permission for my child to participate in the ministry activities and special events that are
organized as a part of the King’s Castle program beginning September 2021 until August 2022.
These activities may include but are not limited to in-city ministry projects, retreats, an annual KC
Summit and short-term mission experiences, many of which will require transportation to off-site
locations. I understand that by signing this form, it will serve as a release of liability for all activities
until the renewal date in September 2022. However, email and/or verbal permission for participation
in activities will still be required.
It is my understanding that all reasonable precautions for the health and safety of my child will be taken while on GT premises and during off-site trips and that they will be supervised during all activities through the King’s Castle program. I recognize that the staff and leadership of the Glad Tidings Church King’s Castle program are required to go through a screening process whereby they are required to provide a police check, and the Plan to Protect Course (which is a requirement of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada).
In the event of accident or injury, I release the staff and volunteers of the GT King’s Castle program from any liability. If medical attention is required at any point, I authorize treatment for my child and understand that reasonable attempts will be made to contact me should such a situation occur.
