House Church is the home group ministry of Glad Tidings and an integral part of who we are. House Churches meet on different nights of the week (determined by the leaders) throughout the greater Moncton area. This year our focus again is on spending time in God’s Word. Using the Life Journal reading plan and the SOAP study method we will work our way through the Bible.
S.O.A.P. is an acronym that stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer.
If you are new to GTC and wanting to connect with people outside of our Sunday morning service then this is the group for you. Your group will meet biweekly for four separate dinners and have the opportunity to share life, faith and make some lasting connections within the church family.
This group is for anyone exploring questions like; Who is Jesus? Why did He die? How do I pray? Participants will meet once a week for 8 – 10 weeks at a host home where a three-course meal will be served followed by a short video teaching and end with a time for Q & A. This is a great place to grow.
If you have recently accepted Christ and now need to grow in that relationship, this group is for you. It’s a relaxing non-threatening environment where you can ask the simple or hard questions and be confident the answers are solid. This class will meet Wednesday evenings in the GT Café and will run for six sessions.
Do you have a desire to take your faith to the streets and to step out in boldness and pray for perfect strangers? Is there something in you that just isn’t content with Sunday service and no more? Joining a kick-start group will push you to reach out and be bolder in your faith, believing God to use you daily in reaching a lost world. These groups will meet weekly on different nights, depending on what group you join.
